There is very little to tell you, which is the point of this page.

One cookie keeps you signed in. Two small things are stored on your own device: your country for the support page, and whether you closed the home screen prompt.

No advertising, no tracking, no analytics that follow you. That is why there is no consent banner.

1 · What we use

Very little, and all of it is needed to make the platform work. There is no advertising on Exist Better, no third-party tracking and no analytics that follow you.

Your sessionOne cookie that keeps you signed in. Without it you would have to sign in again on every page. It is removed when you sign out, and it expires on its own after a period of inactivity.

Your country, for supportStored on your own device rather than sent to us, so the crisis page shows the right numbers next time without asking again.

One dismissalIf you close the prompt about adding Exist Better to your home screen, that is remembered on your device so it does not ask twice.

That is the whole list. The last two are not cookies in the strict sense: they are stored in your browser and never leave your device.

2 · Why there is no banner

Consent is required for cookies that are not strictly necessary. Ours are. There is nothing to ask you about, so we do not interrupt you to ask it.

If that ever changes, you will be asked properly, before anything is set, with a real choice and no dark patterns. We would rather drop the feature than design a banner that nudges you into agreeing.

3 · Other people's cookies

Two services set things when they are in use.

StripeWhen you go through checkout or open the billing page, Stripe sets cookies on their own pages for fraud prevention and to make payment work. Those are theirs and are covered by Stripe's own policy.

Google FontsTwo typefaces are loaded from Google's font service, which means your browser requests a file from them. No cookie is set by it.

4 · Turning them off

Your browser can block or delete anything on this page. The session cookie is the one thing you cannot do without: block it and signing in will not hold, which means your Blueprint cannot be reached.

Clearing your browser's storage will forget your country and the dismissed prompt. Nothing about your Blueprint is lost, since none of it is kept on your device.
