For practitioners
Practitioner Terms
The agreement between Exist Better and a listed practitioner. Published openly, so a member can read exactly what a practitioner has agreed to.
Version 1.0 · In force from 14 August 2026
Listed practitioners are independent. We do not supervise their work, and a booking is a contract between the member and the practitioner.
Registration and insurance must be current. Being listed is not our endorsement and may not be described as one.
Anything a member shares may be used for their care and nothing else. They can withdraw it at any time.
1 · What this is
These terms are between Exist Better, a sole trader business run by Aishling Doyle of 11 Fenton Drive, Stamford, Lincolnshire, PE9 4NN, and you, an independent practitioner listed on the platform.
They are published openly rather than kept private, so that a member can read what a listed practitioner has agreed to.
You are independentYou are not our employee, worker, agent or partner. Nothing here creates a partnership or a joint venture, and you are responsible for your own tax and national insurance.
We are a directoryWe list you and we pass on what a member chooses to share. We do not supervise your work, direct how you practise, or take any part in your sessions.
Your contract is with the memberWhen somebody books you, the agreement is between the two of you. Your fees, your terms, your cancellation policy and your professional obligations are yours.
2 · What you must have, and keep
All of this must be current for as long as you are listed. If any of it lapses, tell us and we will unlist you until it is back in place.
RegistrationCurrent registration with the relevant professional or regulatory body for your discipline, where one exists. Where none exists, current membership of a recognised professional association.
InsuranceProfessional indemnity and public liability insurance appropriate to your practice, covering the work you do through this platform.
QualificationsThe qualifications you have told us about, held by you, and described accurately. We verify what you give us but we do not assess your competence.
DBS where requiredWhere your work brings you into contact with vulnerable adults, a current enhanced DBS check or its equivalent in your jurisdiction.
Your own data obligationsYou are an independent data controller for anything a member shares with you. Registration with the ICO where required, and your own lawful basis for holding it.
3 · How you talk about your work
This is the part we care about most, and the part we will unlist somebody over.
Do not overclaimDo not state or imply that your discipline cures, treats or prevents a disease unless that claim is lawful and evidenced. Be honest about what rests on trial evidence and what rests on practice.
Do not diagnose outside your scopeStay within what your training and registration permit, and say so where something belongs with a doctor.
Never advise on medicationDo not tell a member to stop, reduce or change a prescribed medicine. Refer them to their prescriber.
Do not present us as endorsing youBeing listed is not our endorsement, and you must not describe it as one. You may say you are listed on Exist Better. You may not say you are approved, accredited, recommended or partnered with us.
Handle risk properlyWhere a member appears to be at risk, act according to your professional obligations and your own safeguarding duties. Do not rely on the platform to have noticed.
4 · What a member shares with you
A member may send you part of their Blueprint. They choose what, item by item, and they can withdraw it afterwards.
Use it for their care onlyNothing shared with you may be used for marketing, research, teaching or any other purpose, and it must not be passed to anybody else without their explicit consent.
It is not a clinical recordA Blueprint is an interpretation of what somebody told us. It is not a diagnosis and it has not been reviewed by a clinician. Treat it as context, not as findings.
If they withdraw itYour access ends. Where you have taken your own notes, your own retention obligations apply, and you must tell the member what you are keeping if they ask.
A breachTell us within twenty-four hours of becoming aware of one, alongside your own regulatory notifications.
5 · Money
ListingFree at present. If that changes we will give you at least sixty days' notice, and no charge will apply to a booking already made.
You are paid directlyMembers pay you under your own arrangements. We do not take a commission, we do not process your fees, and we hold no money on your behalf.
Deep DivesWhere a Deep Dive is sold through the platform, the fee split, timing and invoicing are agreed with you separately in writing before any is sold.
6 · Ending it
You can leaveAt any time, by telling us. We unlist you within two working days. Bookings already made remain between you and the member.
We can unlist youWith thirty days' notice and a reason, or immediately where registration or insurance has lapsed, where a claim about your work is unlawful or misleading, where a member's information has been misused, or where there is a serious safeguarding concern.
What survivesYour obligations about a member's information continue after listing ends, for as long as you hold any of it.
7 · Liability, and the law
You are responsible for your own practice, including the advice you give, the treatment you provide and its outcome. We are responsible for running the directory honestly and for handling what a member shares according to our Privacy Policy.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your own practice or from a breach of these terms. Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
