Medical and Wellbeing Disclaimer

The most important thing on this site. Exist Better helps you think about your health. It does not look after it, and it cannot replace anybody who does.

Version 1.0 · In force from 14 August 2026

In short: a Blueprint is not medical advice, not a diagnosis and not a treatment plan. Nobody reviews it before you read it.

Never stop or change prescribed treatment because of something we have said. Talk to your GP first, especially about supplements, herbs, fasting or a significant change in diet or exercise.

We are not an emergency service. If you are in immediate danger, call 999 in the UK or 112 in Ireland.

1 · What Exist Better is not

Exist Better is not a medical service. It is not regulated as one, it does not employ clinicians to review what it produces, and nothing it tells you has been checked by a doctor who knows you.

Not a diagnosisA Blueprint does not identify a condition, name an illness, or tell you what is wrong with you. Where it uses the language of patterns and tendencies, that is what it means, and no more.
Not treatmentNothing in a Blueprint is a treatment plan, a prescription, a dosage or a protocol. Suggestions are places you might begin, offered for you to consider and to discuss with somebody qualified.
Not a second opinionIf a clinician has told you something and a Blueprint appears to say otherwise, the clinician has examined you and we have not. Theirs is the view that counts.
Not supervisedNobody reviews your Blueprint before you read it, and nobody is monitoring the platform in real time. It is available at any hour, which is not the same as somebody being there.

2 · If something is urgent

Exist Better is not an emergency service, a crisis line or a safeguarding service.

If you are in immediate danger

Contact your local emergency services. In the United Kingdom that is 999. In Ireland it is 112 or 999. Our support page carries the crisis services for your country and can be opened at any time, from anywhere on the platform.

Where something you write suggests you may be at risk, the platform stops what it was doing and points you to support instead. That response is automatic and it is not a substitute for a person. Nobody at Exist Better is alerted in the moment, so please do not use the platform to reach us urgently.

3 · Never stop or change treatment on our account

This is the one thing we would ask you to take from this document. Do not stop, reduce, delay or alter any prescribed medicine or treatment because of anything a Blueprint has said, and do not delay seeking help because a Blueprint has offered an explanation that feels satisfying.

Some suggestions can interact with medicines or with existing conditions. Supplements, herbs, fasting, cold exposure, breathwork and significant changes to diet or exercise all belong in a conversation with your GP or specialist first, particularly if you are pregnant, breastfeeding, managing a long-term condition, taking prescribed medication or recovering from surgery.

4 · The traditions we draw on

A Blueprint deliberately looks beyond conventional medicine. That is its purpose, and it is also the reason for this section.

Different kinds of evidenceSome of what we draw on rests on large clinical trials. Some rests on early or contested research. Some rests on centuries of practice and very little formal study. These are not equivalent, and we do not present them as though they were.
How we label itWhere a suggestion comes from a tradition rather than from trial evidence, it is described that way. Where research is early, promising or disputed, it is described that way too. If we have overstated something, tell us and we will correct it.
What inclusion meansThat a tradition appears in your Blueprint is not a claim that it works, and it is not our endorsement of it. It means it has something to say about what you described.
Your judgementYou decide what to try. We think that is the right way round, and it only works if you know how firm the ground under each suggestion is.

5 · Practitioners

Practitioners listed on Exist Better are independent. They are not our employees, our agents or our partners, and we do not supervise their work.

What we checkThat the person exists, that the registration or insurance they have given us is real, and that they have agreed to our Practitioner Terms. That is the whole of it.
What we do not checkTheir competence, their suitability for you, the quality of any session, or the outcome of any treatment. We have no way of knowing those things.
Your contract is with themWhen you book, the agreement is between you and that practitioner. Their fees, their cancellation terms, their insurance and their professional obligations are theirs.
One-to-one work with Aishling DoyleWhere you book directly with Aishling Doyle, that is CBT hypnotherapy provided by her in her own professional capacity, under her own insurance and professional standards. It is not part of your Blueprint or your membership.

6 · What is written by a language model

Ask Your Blueprint and the Clarity Room are produced by a language model working from your Blueprint. Both are described in full in our AI Transparency Statement.

A language model can be wrong, and can be wrong while sounding certain. Read what it writes as one thoughtful view rather than as fact, particularly where it touches on health. If something matters, check it with somebody qualified.

7 · Our responsibility, and its limits

We take the accuracy and the tone of what we write seriously, and we would rather hear about a mistake than not. Nothing in this document limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be limited.

Beyond that: because Exist Better is information and not care, we are not liable for decisions you take about your health, for the outcome of anything you try, or for the work of an independent practitioner. Your statutory rights as a consumer are unaffected.
