Understanding

What would you like to understand?

Most of us have carried a question about ourselves for years without ever being given a proper answer to it. This is where those answers live.

In this part of the site

The perspective shiftsEvery mechanism a Blueprint can name, written to begin with the experience rather than the science.Your blood resultsIn range answers whether you are unwell. Each result read through every relevant specialty, alongside your symptoms and your life stage.

A few of the questions people bring most often.

Why am I wide awake at eleven and useless at seven? Why timing matters more than effortWhy has none of the sleep advice worked? Why timing matters more than effortWhy are winter and dark mornings so much harder? Why timing matters more than effortWhy do I wake at three in the morning?A system that has not stood down

So you know what you are getting

The answer nobody quite gave you.

Each explanation begins with the experience rather than the science. If you recognise yourself in the first few lines, the rest will make sense of it.

From one of them

The body cannot tell sustained excitement from sustained strain.

Both run on the same machinery. So two years absorbed in work you love can leave a body in the same state as two years under pressure.

Which is why it goes unnoticed. Nothing feels wrong, the life is going well, and every piece of advice about stress seems addressed to somebody else.

Every one also says where it stops. What the idea explains well, what it cannot explain, and what is not worth your money or your worry. Being told where to stop is part of understanding something.

If you are holding a printout

In range answers whether you are unwell.

It was never asked whether this is the level at which you function well. Those are different questions, and almost nobody is told that they are.

Each result is read through every relevant specialty at once, alongside your symptoms, your life stage and what has been asked of you this year. The conventional reading comes first, always. Then where other practitioners would look again, how strong that view is, what remains uncertain, and the question worth taking to your doctor.

The same number in a different life is a different finding. A ferritin of 22 means one thing in somebody who menstruates and something else entirely after menopause, which is why this asks about you before it reads anything.

The shortest way in

Or let your own reading bring you here.

Your Blueprint links to the thinking behind everything it says, so you arrive at the explanations that are genuinely about you rather than searching for them.

Anything your own reading links to is free, always. Finding out why it said something should never cost you anything.
